Aperture, f number, shutter speed, exposure, ISO setting, mattering, bracketing, for a “normal” person this has no meaning. But for a photographer is the difference between a picture and a photograph. I sad for a “normal” person, because to be a photographer, you need to be a bit “abnormal”, out of the ordinary, in a strange way, because you have to see everything from a different angle, so you can capture something else then a normal person sees or else, you end up to be exactly like a tourist, just because you haven’t seen that “thing”.
Lenses, filters, batteries, memory cards, these are usual stuff that you find in a backpack or a bag hanging on a photographer’s shoulder. You ignore everyone around you, there is only you and the viewfinder, you never think what people say about you when you lay on your belly or you crawl under a fence or even when you stay in a position that’s a bit funny or strange.
Being a photographer can sometimes be a challenge, or is most of the time, not just sometimes, a challenge. But in the end it pay’s off, when you see your creation. An example of that you can see in the images below and more of that here.
